Aloha Street Store for Kids

On Saturday October 1st, Ocean Girl Project is hosting Hawaii’s first back-2-school popup “free store for kids” created entirely on the street, run by ocean girl volunteers, stocked by donations.

Did you know that each month the full moon has a different name? On Thursday August 18th the moon is called Red Moon. In Hawaii the full moon is called Kulu (Seventeenth Night) The moon has a powerful effect on plants, on the tides, and within the life cycles of all living things. It is also good for surfing.
